Na de presentatie op Bauma in M\u00fcnchen werden de eerste twee exemplaren geleverd aan Silvasti, een van Europa\u2019s meest ervaren specialisten in zwaar en exceptioneel transport. Silvasti werkt al jaren met eerdere generaties van de Mega Windmill Trailer en heeft de XXL\u2011versie inmiddels in gebruik genomen. CEO Ville Silvasti deelt zijn ervaringen.   <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cToen Nooteboom met de MWT\u2011XXL kwam, met die belangrijke verbeteringen, met name voor de stabiliteit van de naloopdolly, bleek         Vertrouwd maar verder verbeterd\n            <\/h2>\n                                                                    <div class=\"wysiwyg\">\n<p>\u201cOp het eerste gezicht lijken de verschillen met het vorige model klein,\u201d vertelt Ville Silvasti. \u201cMaar juist die subtiele verbeteringen zorgen voor een grote sprong vooruit. De verbeteringen zijn voornamelijk constructief van aard en dat is eigenlijk alleen maar positief. We hadden al ruime ervaring met de eerdere MWT-modellen en door de jaren heen hebben we er minstens 25 aangeschaft. Daardoor konden onze chauffeurs heel eenvoudig aan de slag met de nieuwe MWT\u2011XXL, omdat zij dit type trailer al goed kennen.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n                                                            <\/div>\n                            <div class=\"block-content__column\">\n                                \n    <h2 class=\"block-content__title\">\n                    Een bewuste keuze voor Nooteboom\n            <\/h2>\n                                                                    <div class=\"wysiwyg\">\n<p>Gevraagd waarom Silvasti opnieuw voor Nooteboom koos, legt hij uit: \u201cDoor de jaren heen hebben we met verschillende trailertypes en merken gewerkt en daarbij ook altijd een gedegen technische evaluatie uitgevoerd op het gebied van constructie en stabiliteit. We constateerden dat het basisidee achter het Nooteboom-ontwerp bijzonder slim is: het frame is stabiel en zeer doordacht. Toen Nooteboom met de MWT\u2011XXL kwam, met die belangrijke verbeteringen, met name voor de stabiliteit van de naloopdolly, bleek dat precies te zijn waar we naar op zoek waren.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n                                                            <\/div>\n                        <\/div>\n                                                                <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"block-content w-full  io-spacing-top-medium io-spacing-bottom-medium\">\n    <div class=\"io-container\">\n        <div class=\"io-grid\">\n            <div class=\"block-content__content-wrapper col-span-full col-start-1 justify-start items-start\">\n                                                                            <div class=\"block-content__columns\">\n                            <div class=\"block-content__column\">\n                                \n    <h2 class=\"block-content__title\">\n                    Technische perfectie\n            <\/h2>\n                                                                    <div class=\"wysiwyg\">\n<p>Met een Master of Science in automotive engineering benadert Ville Silvasti trailertechnologie met een scherp oog voor detail. \u201cIk heb een grote passie voor trailers en kijk altijd graag dieper naar de technische kant. Voor dit interview sprak ik met een van onze chauffeurs, die al sinds dag \u00e9\u00e9n bij Silvasti werkt. Hij neemt zijn werk uiterst serieus: als er problemen waren geweest, had hij me zeker gebeld. Maar dat is nooit gebeurd, dus weet ik dat alles perfect heeft gefunctioneerd.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Afgelopen zomer zette Silvasti de MWT\u2011XXL in voor een project in Litouwen, waarbij windtorensecties met een buitendiameter van 6,3 meter werden vervoerd. \u201cDat zit bijna tegen de maximale grens aan van wat mogelijk is,\u201d zegt Silvasti, \u201cmaar opnieuw: geen enkele klacht van de chauffeur. En dat zegt eigenlijk alles.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n                                                            <\/div>\n                            <div class=\"block-content__column\">\n                                \n    <h2 class=\"block-content__title\">\n                    Perfecte veelzijdigheid\n            <\/h2>\n                                                                    <div class=\"wysiwyg\">\n<p data-cya11y-org-font-size=\"20\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\" data-cya11y-org-font-size=\"20\">Volgens Silvasti biedt de MWT\u2011XXL \u201cde perfecte combinatie\u201d om zowel de kleinste als de grootste torendiameters te vervoeren. De trailer kan worden ingezet voor het transport van nacelles \u00e9n de grotere torensecties. \u201cDe trailer is zelfs stabieler dan we vooraf hadden verwacht,\u201d legt hij uit. \u201cDankzij de extra stabiliteit van de nieuwe MWT\u2011XXL merken onze chauffeurs nauwelijks verschil bij het vervoeren van torens met een diameter van 4,5 of 6,5 meter. De grootste voordelen zijn de stabiliteit, het lage eigen gewicht en de lage onderhoudskosten. Onze chauffeurs hebben beide systemen getest en bij een 4-punts klem moet je veel nauwkeuriger werken bij het aankoppelen aan de toren. De 3-punts klem daarentegen zoekt automatisch de juiste positie, het past gewoon.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Samenwerking voor de lange termijn<\/h3>\n<p>De relatie tussen Nooteboom en Silvasti gaat al jaren terug. \u201cWe hebben inmiddels aan een half woord genoeg om elkaar te begrijpen.\u201d Door de jaren heen is deze samenwerking uitgegroeid tot een echt partnerschap. Silvasti voorziet Nooteboom van waardevolle, praktijkgerichte feedback vanuit de dagelijkse werkzaamheden, feedback die Nooteboom al heeft benut om de MWT\u2011XXL verder te verfijnen en te verbeteren. Deze uitwisseling van kennis en ervaring zorgt ervoor dat beide partijen de grenzen van transporttechnologie blijven verleggen.   <\/p>\n<h3>Betrouwbaarheid boven alles<\/h3>\n<p>Na enkele maanden werken met de MWT\u2011XXL is Silvasti tevreden over de prestaties. \u201cTot nu toe ziet alles er zeer veelbelovend uit.\u201d Tot slot benadrukt hij hoe cruciaal betrouwbaarheid is binnen de windindustrie: \u201cIn deze sector opereren we continu aan de grens van het mogelijke. Daarom is het essentieel om te kunnen vertrouwen op vakbekwame chauffeurs en de best mogelijke trailertechnologie. Zelfs de kleinste storing kan grote gevolgen hebben. Voor ons zijn stabiliteit en eenvoud in het ontwerp doorslaggevend en de MWT\u2011XXL biedt precies dat.\u201d <\/p>\n<p data-cya11y-org-font-size=\"20\"><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"
